EN 445–446 Shakespeare (3) (3)
Study of selected major works, with reference to the poet's life, times, and stagecraft; includes viewing and discussion of performances of plays when available. Readings in the two courses differ, but both include representative history plays, tragedies, and comedies. Each course may be taken independently of the other. Pre-requisite: EN 113.
