Art Exhibition 2010, "Altered Landscapes"

From April 18th through May 11th in the Sullivan Library, the College will present "Altered Landscapes" a fine arts show and sale of original, multi-media works by regional artists. The show is green-themed and aims to draw attention to the effects of the human presence on our planet.

Incorporating a wide range of artistic styles, the works bring to light the unprecedented need for more social awareness and engagement with regard to the environment. The exhibit will present a full spectrum of fine art from pristine scenery to representations of the industrial sites that are tipping the scale of Earth's delicate balance. The show which is open during library hours is designed for people of all ages to appreciate.
