Professor of Special Education and Coordinator of Graduate Programs in Education Publishes Book, Report : In June, 2009, the Journal of Visual Impairments and Blindness published a research report authored by Dr. Rona Shaw of Dominican College and Joanne Russotti, Judy Strauss-Schwartz, Helen Vail, and Ronda Kahn. The report is titled The Need for a Uniform Method of Recording and Reporting Functional Vision Assessment. In July, 2009, Everyday Activities to Promote Visual Efficiency: A Handbook for Working with Young Children with Visual Impairments, co-authored by Dr. Shaw and Ellen Trief, was published by American Foundation for the Blind.
