Inauguration of Alpha Lambda Delta Freshman National Honor Society: The Freshman Year Office is pleased to announce the establishment of a chapter of Alpha Lambda Delta at the College. The charter was awarded at an induction ceremony on April 8, 2010 at 6:30 PM.

Debaters Kocak and Imm Win First Place at RCC Public Forum Debate League Tournament : Dominican College debaters in the extemporaneous division, Jimmy Kocak and David Imm, took first place at the February 21 PFDL Tournament, winning in the final round against a very strong SUNY Cortland Team.

Art Exhibition 2010, "Altered Landscapes": From April 18th through May 11th in the Sullivan Library, the College will present "Altered Landscapes" a fine arts show and sale of original, multi-media works by regional artists. The show is green-themed and aims to draw attention to the effects of the human presence on our planet.

Demme Film Will Screen as Fundraiser for Haitian Relief Efforts: Date changed due to snow. On March 11, the Jonathan Demme documentary The Agronomist will be screened as a benefit to raise funds for Haitian relief efforts. The film will show from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM in the Fury Lecture Hall of the Prusmack Center on the campus of Dominican College. The event is open to the public with a suggested donation/entrance fee of a $10.
