Student Health Insurance

At Dominican College we value the health and wellness of our students. We understand that physical and mental health problems can seriously hinder a student’s path to success, not only while pursuing their degree here, but in all facets of their lives.

Through Collegiate Insurance Resources, students who may not have private health insurance coverage have the ability to enroll in a health insurance plan offered by the American College Student Association and United Health Care.

All registered students are eligible to enroll in this plan.

The plans are all compliant with the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act as required by Health and Human Services, are underwritten by United Healthcare Student Resources, and offer nationwide hospitals, doctors, specialists, and mental health providers.

For more information on in-network providers, claims information, pre-existing condition inquiries, and other coverage questions, please contact Customer Service at 800-767-0700.

The full plan summaries and enrollment forms can be accessed online at www.cirstudenthealth.com/dc or www.acsa.com/student-health-plans.aspx. Please be sure to read each plan option carefully.

To pay by check, print out the appropriate enrollment form from the website and return it by mail. To pay by credit card you must enroll online, or contact Collegiate Insurance Resources at 800-322-9901 for assistance.
