The Palisades Institute that had been scheduled for October 30 will now be held on Tuesday, December 4 at the Rockland Country Club and will feature a panel of economic development experts who are helping to shape the area's future.
This interactive dialogue, entitled "The Rockland Business Economy - Where Are We Headed", will include Michael J. DiTullo, President and CEO of the Rockland Economic Development Corporation, Brian Gates, Vice President of the Hudson Valley Economic Development Corporation, Steven Porath, Executive Director of the Rockland Industrial Development Agency, Richard M. Struck, Director of Economic Development at Orange and Rockland Utilities, and Aimee Vargas, Director of the Mid-Hudson Office of Empire State Development and the Governor's Representative to the Hudson Valley.
Working together, these individuals recruit businesses to Rockland and the Hudson Valley region. They also identify incentives that can assist new and existing businesses to expand in our area. Learning about their strategic direction and their view of where we are headed can help companies anticipate new opportunities and more closely align with the projected business economy.
Breakfast will be served beginning at 7:45 a.m. The panel will start promptly at 8:30 a.m. and will conclude promptly at 9:30 a.m. The cost to attend is $30.
